Montessori Nido classrooms from 8 weeks to 18 months.

The word ‘Nido’ is derived from the Italian word meaning ‘nest’ .

Nido provides a home-like environment for infants where babies feel loved and secure while exploring new experiences.

Rooms are comforting, warm and inviting with care being taken to provide a nurturing and calm atmosphere to enhance the development of the young child.

The purpose of the Nido program is to facilitate the developmental milestones of infants by providing activities and materials that encourage movement, exploration, and sensory experiences and language development.

Infant Community (1.5 up to 3 years)

During your child’s journey in the Infant Community they will be supported to:

Refine their fine and gross motor skills
Enrich their vocabulary
Gain confidence in their independence
Establish their role within a community setting

Children's House (2.5 up to 4 years)

During your child’s journey in the Children’s House they will:

Love discovering more about the world around them
Have a stronger ability to solve problems they encounter
Show an awareness and a respect for the needs of others in their community
